This past weekend I got around to making a set of stands for my RCK54 mower deck. I only wish I would have made them sooner makes storing and moving so much easer. I started out with 2 pieces 1" round bar 12.5" long. Tap one end to 3/8"16 for shoulder bolts. The other end I turned down to 1/2" X1"3/4" long and drilled a .125" hole in it for a hair pin. Then cut 2 1' hyd. pipe to 1" wide length for the stops and used a 1/8" roll pins to secure it on the shaft. I used 5" steel lawn mower wheels. Once upright the set up seems very stable and rolls very easy even in gravel.
