Hola everyone!
Just wanted to share the day's nonsense. Was cleaning up a small landslide on our shared driveway and I started to hear a hissing over the engine noise. Checked and the left front tire was losing air fast. Seemed like a ripped valve stem type of thing, at least coming from that vicinity. Already has an inner tube in it from previous trauma.
The job needed to get done today cuz the neighbors are paying, was an hour and half before dark. Drove back to the house, dumped in a small bottle of slime I had with no positive effect. Mixed up several liters of a slurry of wheat flower, sawdust, tortilla flour, sand and a little dish soap and squirted it in using the slime bottle. Sealed right up and was able to finish the job. Wife had to ride along shotgun holding a phone flashlight for the backing up parts.
The advantage of this homemade sealer is it will probably ferment in there, further inflating my tire! I wonder how long it will last?
