Yea sure, the mountings probably wont be the same as your tractor. Which bits do you want measurements of.

The blade is 40'' wide. It is a 3/32'' stainless steel bent into shape on a bending machine. I made the frame for it first then made the metal to fit. The metal is whatever I had on hand, in tis case 1.5x0.5'' steel. I bent the side pieces to shape by cutting slots and pulling the edges together and welding.

What tools do you have availiable. If you dont have a welder my methods wont work for you but I can think of many non welder ways to do it if need be.

Was that you on MSN, if so we can discus it more there.

The linkage will be harder because your tractor will be different to mine. If you post some photos of your tractors rear end (that sounded bad /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif) and dimensions, ill see what I can come up with, unless you want to bodge up something like I did as you go along.

The plough is a old horse drawn thing I hit with my mower. I decided that it was ample payment for the dmage if the plough became mine, thats how I came across it. I kinda botched up a couple a bars to stick it on the tractor.

The cab was built as I went along, I simply clamped together, moved till it was right them got the old stinger on it and welded her up.

It depends how you want to do all this, I did everything with no plans and made it fit as I went along. I use what metal I find so no 2 parts are alike. If you want to build buying you steel in the right sizes you would get better results.
Id be happy to help you out if you need some plans, I do CAD (Computer design) so its easy enough (but time consuming) to draw plans, but everyone needs something to do on a rainy day.

Give us a shout more accurately what you want to know, some pics of your tractor would help too /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Mith, is that a wood floor in your garage?

   / Home Plow #8
Yea. Its more like a big shed really, that and a cross between a small barn. I lost the toss on the garage /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
If you want one piece of advice when building a storage place, dont get a wood floor. The amount of fires ive had from welding (you cant see fire through the welding helmet so you dont notice unitl you lift your mask and by then its a big fire /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif), the oil and petrol soaks in and stays there, it gets ripped up when you drag things across it, it bows up when it rains, you get splinters, is is very weak (suspended, put the engine crane on it and you say bye bye to the engine crane through the floor), I live in constant fear of it burning down with all my tools inside and its really hard to clean. Other than that its great /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
On the upside you can nail templates to the floor for fabricating parts /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
Why do you ask, or are you just wondering?

PS, thats an old photo, theres now a load of scap steel around the doors and mud and the barn bit below has got 2 tractors in it, there are another 2 in the shed /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif Oh and we dont have guinea pigs any more /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
