Home rate and term refinance at 3.125 with a minus .125 point credit

I 2nd the credit union. I got a refi through dcu.org for 2.875 a couple months ago. And I have a paid off rental too. They did question it but that is because they want to know if you have any outstanding loans on them which reduces your ability to carry the primary loan.

Existing loan is 3.375 and adjusts in April and every 12 months

My loan lock is for 3.125 with a minus .125 point at 30 year fixed

Credit Union is offering 3.5% with 1 point for 30 year.

Loan person said rentals raise a red flag and require much more work...

Also said they have to verify how many loans I have because if you have too many... you cannot get approved for any program they offer.

I have the one I am in the process of refinancing and one other that will be paid in 7 years...

So, it looks like it would have been super easy till the rentals came up...
