Not positive, but I think the blue ones were just ahead of the red ones..-- Your xl-12 is red,--- my buddy had a blue, older one!----You have some nice units there!!! thanks; sonny580

OK a few questions here.
I now have another SuperXL Automatic without the button for the oiler. It has all the piping check valve and so on. I looked over a ton of schematics and can't find the button with the threaded retaining nut. My XL-12 has the button with the retaining nut but again no schematics with the retaining nut.
Any ideas what the part number could be for the button wit the retaining nut?
Are the carbs on the SuperXLAO interchangeable?

Just picked up another Blue, this one is an XL-12. 7 digit serial number anyone know how to date it?

I’m glad you got it running, but cut circles around a Stihl? I owned a Homelite 30 years ago but bought a Stihl 029 and cut hundreds of cords with it.
