I just completed a Cab project for my Mahindra Max25 involving 500+ hours over 8 months. I use 2"x2"-1/4" wall steel tube for the 4 post and a cross member at the rear. These post replace the OEM ROPS. I also used 2"x4" and 2"x5" rectangular steel tube both with 1/8" wall for the cab cross frame members on all 4 sides as well as the doors and 1-1/4" square steel tubing for the doors and rear window. The rear window opens and is held open using gas struts. Both doors can be removed for summertime use. I installed 1/4" safety glass all the way around with 1/4" lexan used on the 2 small windows at the front of the cab. The roof of the cab was made from a single sheet of 16 ga. steel sheet using homemade jigs and bending tools for the compound bends. Fehr Tractor Cab Supply and Dynamat and Dynaliner sound deadening and insulating products were used. I installed a radio and Cab monitor with a rear mounted cam to document what is going on behind the tractor. Work lights are installed at the top of the cab front and rear. There are also tail lights at the top of the cab at the rear and signal/hazard lights installed at both ends on the cab top. I may be revising the plans that I have produced to be more professional and checked by a professional engineer and then offered for sale.

Sorry for the pictures being upside down and sideways. Don't know how to get them "right side up". Sorry.

Nice job ! Your cab project really came out good, very professional.
I found building my cab to be a fun and a satisfying project always looking for something to build .

Looks good. How much does it weigh? Will your tractor still go through a 7' high door?

Real nice job, that's a lot of work (and it shows)!
Now if you have not used it (with the cab) yet in the snow, may the snow gods bless you once before spring.

Very nice build. But, with the square look it doesn't appear very efficient, and your mileage must suffer at road speeds. Keeping it below 45 might be best! ;-) Did I mentioned I am impressed?

Some people take the easy way out and build their cab right side up. You upped the game by building it sideways and upside down. Lol.

Seriously, great professional build. Well thought out. Thanks for sharing.

So are you saying you are going to offer cabs like yours for sale?
