I was looking at the homemade cultivator thread and decided to post this also. NOTE: I am not an artist but tried to show what I was explaining. This is a Farm Pro cultivator and has removable tines with bolts on the supporting arms. I want to add a piece of 1 1/4 square tubing to the bottom on of the arms after removing the tines and then use the Hillers from AgriSupply and adjust accordingly to what my rows will be. I just cannot see spending the $175+ hillers for ASC hiller hookup when I basically can made my own.
Does this look like it will work? Any suggestions? I guess the biggest thing would be the angle to run the hillers , I could use the top link to adjust this also.

Any ideas or criticism would be appreciated.

thanks,
Bill

Bill, One problem I might see is ...Are your hillers going to be lining up behind the tractors tires?? If not it might work.;)

They would have to be mounted on the inside of the square tubing. My rear wheels are about 44" on the outside so that leaves me a lot of room on the inside if I mount the bar further back.
