glover,

Welcome to TBN!!

Have you looked around for a blade made for that tractor? Considering time and effort to make something, it may be the way to go.
I did a quick look and they're about $200 new with everything. Here's one on e-bay that's currently at $20.

Here is another for $190 with tire chains included.

I see.

Can you fill out your profile and give us an idea of where you live? Heck, I have enough scrap metal laying around but it wouldn't help if you're far away.

What's wrong with the snowblower? Is it scrap at this point? Is there a way you could cut off the sides, remove the chute and auger and use the remainder as a starting point? You then have the mounting system and all you would need to make is a swivel. The rear side of existing blower can be reinforced and made smooth with a piece of tin or something bolted/welded/rivoted (whatever) to the side the snow would contact.

yeah i live in peterborough ontario i might find an older broken snowblower part and take the blower and that out and just use that maybe

I did two things when I was your age with a broken blower. First I built a wooden plow with lag bolts that lasted a couple of years. Then I gutted the snow blower and used it as a pusher type plow.

The blower worked well as a plow because it was only a single stage.
