Hi Guys, Just wanted show my first metal fab project from 2009. It has some rough edges that could be touched up. It has held up so far with only two tines breaking which are not too expensive. This suprised me because I was kind of worried if the little welder would produce a worthy weld.

Yea good job..., me too, where did you get the S tines from please?
Additionally, did you bend up your own 3PT or did you order
it up? If ordered from where?

3 Point hookups are fairly easy to make. I have made 2 0r 3 and if I can do it, most anyone can.

Thanks for the good review guys. I got the S-Tines from Agrisupply and they are usually about $10 bucks each. As for the 3pt I bent it out of 1/2 inch flat using a torch and table top vise. I am glad you asked about my most recent build. It is a 20ft low ride trailer which took the better part of a year to build because it was done outside and with a tight budget. My brother contributed to the wheels and tires. I still have a few things I would like to do to this one but when I get home with time I will probably get it done. So here it is in stages.

That is a great looking cultivator and the exact thing I have been thinking about. Looks really nice. It's not to heavy and not too light but able to take a degree of abuse. Have you used it much and any comments on how it works for you? How did you break the tines?

I built it for my dad and he uses it alot. He mainly uses it in rocky areas which is where it does way better than the disc harrow. I think he breaks the tines by catching stumps which are all over on the property. The tines I used are the light duty kind. The heavy duty tines are the same price but the hangers are about 3 times the cost of the light duty hangers which I may convert it to the heavy tines later next year.
