I had an old 8' Fisher plow blade from my pick-up in my junk steel pile. I also just so happened to have a quick attach plate for my loader. After a little looking around we made this little riggin up to help clean-up the yard and a couple accounts.

Works good thus far. I have a couple additions I need to make, like a back-drag for the top so I can pull back from doors and obsticles. Once I get the final design done I'll get it painted in the spring.

Yours does look good. I wish mine worked, the one we just failed doesent deserve its own thread. but ill post it for what others should not do. The weak link is a 5000# rated trailer hitch coupler we tried to adapt. it snapped first try at plowing.

I mounted this VERY OLD (came off a a '48 willys plow truck) plow frame on my 3710 FEL. Three bolts hold it on, chain from plow frame to chain hook on bucket used to rais and lower it. I have been using it for 9 seasons now, which is 9 more than I should have ever gotten out of it.

I had it burried in the barn since 1987.

Looks great, proportionally close to a factory built (expensive) unit.

I toyed with the idea of doing the same thing but opted for a second bucket used just for snow, the largest light materials bucket I could get, which is 6' for my loader, taller and deeper also. My machine wouldn't be able to push 8' unless it was just tailing's.
With the big bucket I can still load and pile with it also.

PS. Any predictions for the syrup crop this spring? prices are getting crazy down here this winter, can't wait to make my 2-3 qts this year. Heck if my 1 maple flows like it did last year I may be able to get a gallon! :)

JB.
