Homier Farm Pro vs. Northern Tool\'s Nortrac

Now that Northern Tool has lowered the price of all their 20 hp models by $1000, it has made the model with the front end loader $50 cheaper than Homier's 25 hp model with front end loader. Granted, I have added shipping to Northern Tool's price and Homier's price would have to be picked up from one of their "mobile sales."

I have seen postings on this board saying that Homier's Farm Pro models are a "cheaper" Jinma. Do the Northern Tool models also fall into this catagory, or are they a "higher grade" Jinma than Homier's models???

If the Norther Tool models are a higher grade, would their 20 hp model be a fair comparison to Homier's 25 hp model, considering the same price?

Any opinions aout there on this? If you had roughly $7600, which tractor with front end loader would you buy?

I don't think the Homier is a lower grade of Jinma tractor. Their 20 hp is just a basic 2wd tractor. Other dealers can get them as well. Just are not that popular. Experience means allot on the assembly and checkout with Chinese tractors. Northern has been at this much longer than Homier. Northern knows these tractors inside and out. Homier sells them at tool shows, but also has some dealers springing up. They are still pretty much new at this.

The GB loader is better than a zl20. I think the zl20 bucket is larger than the GB, but GB has rear axle supports and has better hyd controls and is of better quality. The Northern is slightly smaller than the Homier 254. Mainly smaller wheels.

Better quality fel, assembly, and support VS slightly larger tractor. If the 20hp will do the tasks you need, I'd chose it.

For once i agree with John,buy the Nortrac and gain much more support and better quality.........Or you could buy a 790,just joking John......

They're still trying to get the new servers up and running or at least the old master/slave server set up back. If you go in early (CA Time) in the morning it's been ok.
