Re: homier \'farm-pro\'???

I went to see them. They were assembled jinmas. The small 2999.00 units had already been changed over to cat1.

They don't bring them to the sales up here in Ohio.
I wanted a look.

Re: homier \'farm-pro\'???

I'm glad I got to see them...even test drove them.

All in all... not a bad little unit. I wouldn't hesitate to buy one, as long as I know i can get parts.... that would be the only concern.
As for fit/finish, was not as nice as the big 3.. but as good as the old vintage tractors I'm so fond of.

Re: homier \'farm-pro\'???

They did come to Ohio.........They had a display at the power show in Columbus on Jan 24, 25, and 26th. They looked like an inexpensive tractor compared to many of the other brands represented there.....The fit and finish are just not quite there yet!!........

Re: homier \'farm-pro\'???

i found out the hard way, after paying way too much at auction. but the farm-pros are a cheap cheap version of the jinmas. i used the heck out of it, and after being around it a while, and selling it, i'm now a jinma dealer. farm pros had no power steering, (but apparently now they do??) quick connect hydraulics, and as cheap as they can be ordered.
the warranty is only 6 months, where ours is 1 year. my concern would be the 'labor' warranty? what, take it to homier in indiana for warranty labor repairs? we have service facilities and techs. as far as parts, bolton equipment, deljen equipment, several larger dealers can overnite or UPS parts quickly. deljen is getting the new site up -- www.jinmaparts.com to order parts online

Re: homier \'farm-pro\'???

The Homier travelling tool show came to Paducah, KY this weekend and they advertised their tractors. I went to the show yesterday and they had a 20 hp 2wd. This was my first good look at any chinese tractor and I liked what I saw. It looked like a very serviceable tractor (stuff easy to get to) and fairly intuitive to operate, much like the vintage American tractors. For $3000, it would be a toss-up for me between going with the N-series Fords or the Jinma. Jinma is a bit more modern, with a diesel engine, but the N has the advantage of practically any part from NAPA or other local source. If I were looking for another small tractor, I would definatley consider a Chinese tractor, but I would probably rather pay a little more and buy it from an actual Chinese Tractor Dealer than a travelling tool show (who knows how long Homier will support you with parts/advice?)
