Did you get your clock set like you wanted ?

Yes I did, Thank you. The : was right there in plain sight, all I had to do was look.
The model is a Rancher ES ( yellow )and I found a tag on a part of the front frame that indicates a 2006 model.
Question. The two brake levers w/ the hand grips are obvious, but what is the lever / peddle for next to your right foot / instep ?

Probably a rear footbrake.

This is what am suspecting it is. I have only used / driven this atv once and I used the hand brakes.
So, does this mean that there are 2 brake controls for the rear wheel ? And it just gives the operator an option as to whether he wants to use his hand or his foot.
I feel a little foolish asking questions that make me sound simple minded but I haven't sat on the seat of a 4 wheeler in approx. 30 years and then it was one of the original honda 4trax.

More braking power than you can get from a handbrake perhaps? Or so that you can hit the gas (with you right hand) while braking with your foot. I don't know for certain, but all the 4wheelers and dirtbikes I have seen have had a foot brake on the RH side that only stops the rear wheel. I hear that on some Polaris 4wheelers it activates an engine brake rather than a friction brake.

The brake hand levers are Front, and rear with park brake. The rear hand brake should also have the red button for reverse.

The foot lever is also rear brake. It is the lever i usually use. It allows you to keep a firm grip on the handle bars, plus you can apply more force using the foot lever.\

To use reverse, push the red button down and pull the brake lever towards you (while the bike is in neutral). You should see a "R" in the indicator window (or a red indicator light). To go forward, shift as usual.

I should mention, that Honda's ATV brakes are crap. The bike your using is low miles so they should be ok, but be sure to feel them out before you rely on them too much.

There should be a wing nut on the cable on the cam lever for the rear drum. Turn this clockwise to tighten up your brakes (if necessary). Also this cam lever is prone to seizing if the brakes go unused or the bike sees deep water/mud. Its not hard to disassemble and clean, but it requires tools and a bit of experience.

Your bike is newer than mine, so it should have disks on front instead of drums. The disks work much better than the drums on mine. but you can still have issues, especially when in water.
