honda rt 5000

I have a honda rt 5000 tractor. It has always run perfectly and just yesterday it refused to start. I checked the spark and it has none. I put a new plug in and still no spark.
Do the iginitions die on this model. Any ideas?

On my 20 year old Honda I had the seat safety sensor go bad. It did not think you were on the seat so the safety would not allow it to start.

I had the same problem at two different times. The 5000 has both a coil and an ignition module that go bad. Also make certain the ground wire from the engine to the frame is good as it can cause the coil and/or module to go bad. They cost about $80 each. Good luck.
