Just got my new Femco weatherbreak installed last nite. Femco doesn't make one for a JD 3203, but the basic platforms for the 3120,3320, etc. are pretty close in size, so I figured what the heck and try one. It fits pretty well all in all. The only real problem was the door post, with it mounted to the floor it pushed the windshield way out of whack, so I mounted it under the floor lip and it now sits perfect. The gaps around the door and fender aren't too bad, the other side fits really snug. The engine cover fits with just a little imagination as to where to attatch the velcro. It does however make it a PITA to put the loader back on, can't see the posts and arms. Good thing I never take it off anyway, just did it to ease in initial install of brackets, velcro, and fitment. Now just need to lower the canopy to close off the gap in the top. This has to be better than all my snowmobiling clothes and helmet on to keep me somewhat warm. Will try it tomorrow as it has snowed over 8" today and is still coming.

That looks good. Keeps you out of the wind. Should get some warm air from the motor, too.

I like it, I treated myself to a canopy this year but now would like to get something like that.
Why do they wrap the side of the engine like that, for heat? and don't they offer anything to close off the rear? I'll check the site but do you know if that will fit a 4310 and how much $$ ?
my canopy comes down a little more than yours so it looks like it would be a good fit, I was thinking of rigging up some poly screen but it would probably look like the last rose of summer.

Good news, blew snow this morning and it averaged 8-12 degrees warmer inside than out. And I came in the house with dry clothing!!!!

--JB4310-- yes it wraps around the engine to help funnel the heat back to you, and you can definitely feel the heat. I got mine off e-bay from Fairview Farm Supply & Parts llc. Sellers name is farmsupply4. Mine cost me $353.57 including shipping. Good seller and very prompt shipping. Right now I don't see one listed, but e-mail him and see what he has. Your 4310 doesn't show up on femcomfg.com but it looks like you might be able to make part# 307022141 work for you as mine wasn't listed either but based upon similar platforms of the 40 series you might make it work. Don't know about closing the rear, but I still need to reach my hand crank for the chute, maybe rig up some 6-8 mil plastic velcroed to the rops would work.

I also have a Femco on my B-7500 and what I did for the back was to buy a piece of Plexiglas and cut it into to strips and mounted it on the rops. The upper piece goes all the way up to the top of the rops and butts up to the sunshade. Then I left a 6" gap and added the second piece to the lower section of the rops. I drilled holes into the plexiglas and used tie-wraps to secure the pieces to the rops.

This left enough room to reach through to rotate the handle on the chute. Really cut down on the amount of snow that enters inside from the rear.

Yesterday I added a 12-vdc motor to the chute and then closed off the section on the back with another piece of Plexiglas. The motor came off from a cheap winch I had hanging around (bought off from Ebay) so we mounted it on a plate and connected directly to the chute union joint on the woods blower. Then I mounted the winch controller inside the cab. Not the prettiest looking setup, but it does seem to work nicely.

It is really snowing hard this morning so I will have a chance to check it out today.

And the plexiglass if you could. It sounds like a good idea. Thanks.

I will try and get out there today and take a few pictures of the Plexiglas and rotator motor. Warning it ain't anything pretty, but it does function nicely and I am staying dryer with the addition of the extra glass.

Jerrami, you've done such a nice job installing the weather break and the tractor is nearly new I am not sure if you would want to do what I did. I have two bolts on the top side of my ROPS, which I used to attach the plexiglass. Then about half way down I drilled two holes in the plexi and ran a tiewrap through the holes and around the rops. Did this on both sides to hold the glass up against the rops.

I ran the plexiglass all the way up until it was touching the sun shade. I then added a second piece below leaving room to reach through to adjust the chute. Now I have connected the two after adding the electric chute rotator.

My tractor is an 02 and I have added other things to it, but it certainly doesn't look new.

Thanks Wayne, how bad does the snow stick to the plexi? Or does it stay relatively clean?
