Stay away from Carlisles, absolute garbage. My 2305 came with them. All 4 have cracked with less than 200 hours on them, and they were properly inflated and kept in the shade.

I'm going to recommend WW fluid, -20 F of course. I put the RG in my L3800 because it was new, available at the dealer and I wanted the best. But when I had to replace the 13.6x28 tire on the David Brown 780 it was not easy to transport the tractor or just the very heavy tire to a dealer. So WW fluid was my best option. I just can't trust CaCl in a vintage tractor that new rims/fenders might cost a lot or be irreplaceable.
I am also running a brush hog on the 780 which in itself is plenty of weight. Have had no trouble in cold weather with the -20 WW fluid. :2cents:
Also the CaCl in the original DB 780 tires had been in there a long time with very little rust. The little surface rust was easy to clean up. I can only think that it must have been done right when installed.

Rat Rod, where are you located? For north AL and south TN, a couple gallons of WW or RV antifreeze (the rest being water) is all that's needed to keep even large tractor tires from freezing, according to my BIL who's been driving tractors all his life. Some places don't require any AF at all. If you live in Siberia (i.e. MN, ND, WI, etc. etc. etc) obviously that won't apply to you, you'll have to use full strength anti-freeze of some sort or Rimguard.

I have Titans on all four wheels on my Kubota, they've been there since the tractor was new (2005) and they are doing great for me.

Good luck!

After 10 years the Titans that came on the front of my JD wore out (5000 hrs). I installed Carlisle because Titans were hard to find and $$. Two years later I scrapped the Carlisles and bought Titans....The original Titans on the rear are starting to show weather cracks, but still look OK...
