Yesterday while placing corn and sunflower seeds for the birds and squirrls I saw a big rat takeoff toward one of my brush piles some distance away /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif. Later that day while dumping some freshy cut branches out of the loader into the pile and using the tractor to compact the pile I saw several more rats. Oh boy, rats /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif. Good thing I had just loaded up some Hornet ammo /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif, lucky me /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif. Well, today, after glassing the area I would occasionally see a rat, one made a trip to the squirrl feeding area--OK--sucker--try a 35 gr ballistic tip out for tastes. No, I did not photograph the remains, much to shocking for TBN /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif, not much left of the rats. I don't carry them off, just leave them lie, something comes and eats them, I suspect my friendly neighborhood coyote or perhaps an owl or hawk. Hope they enjoy them /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif. I klled five, I am sure there are plenty more here and there /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif. J
