I have all but given up on finding a made in USA hose nozzle, but if anyone knows of one I'd be glad to hear it.

I have tried various ones over the years and while I like the simplicity/ruggedness of the inline brass nozzles, they are sometimes difficult to use one handed. I like multiple spray pattern nozzles but can't seem to get one that lasts a whole season as they are mostly cheaply made. I bought an aluminum one about a month ago and it might have been good, but the mower ate it :). I need to buy another one, but want one that's going to last. And no, I don't expect it to survive a lawnmower attack. I am open minded about different types, just wondering what you guys use and like.

I have found that Rain Bird makes the best ones that I have used, not sure if they are American made or not but 100% sure if you can find them they won't be the cheapest, but definately worth the extra$.

Thanks guys for the info, I have not heard of either until now. I checked out the rainbird site and didn't find any hose nozzles, seems they specialize in sprinkler systems... but I did find a two pack of nozzles on amazon- maybe there are 2 different companies? The dramms look pretty good too.

I will probably try one of the ones mentioned. Thanks again.

I think you are talking about one similar to the Ace Power Flow, but it can't be operated with one hand like the pistol-grip kind. I prefer the tried and true old solid brass twist nozzles. They even hold up well to my grandson who drops them onto the concrete driveway, steps on them, and constantly changes between patterns, and finds a way to disassemble the pistol grip mechanism and lose pieces on that type of nozzle.

Yup! jinman, shows the solid brass kind that I've been using for years, you simply can't beat-um, No plastic parts to wear out or break,
No leaking out from around the handle like the trigger style eventually does, and has a variable of spray adjustments,;) drop them on the ground and they'll still work when pick it back up.
These type are getting hard to find though, I think is because the market for the el-cheap-o plastic kind wouldn't sell if the good kind were more available,
