Had an idea that it would be nice to have hot water available to me outside...

Now I know it was a good idea. Took some reconfigurating (;) ) inside but since we wash the dogs outside and are on a well, I thought the least we could do for them was make the water warm!

:D

About the only thing I've found wrong with this idea is if you use a hose, it can take a bit of trial & error finding the right "mix" of hot/cold to get warm because of the lag time from faucet to end of hose.

For the record, I'm not affiliated with Woodford at all, just wanted to show/share what I thought was a cool idea.

That is a really cool idea. I just had to replace a outside faucet with a frost free one. Now I am wondering if I should have gone the extra mile and plumbed in the little gizmo that you just did.

I don't recall the exact price but I want to say it was $80.00 give/take a dime. That's probably within $5.00. I found out the place where I bought it does NOT discount special orders like that.

I could have (probably) bought it directly from the factory, paid the same price and had it delivered a bit quicker. I seem to remember when I was speaking to the factory that she said they make those in two days and ship them out. Add in the time it takes my distributor to make the order, receive it, call me... all for the same price... next time (if there ever is) I'll probably just try to buy it direct.
