hours

   / hours #2
It all depends on what tractor and who owned it. I have seen tractors with 6000 hours on them that still looked and ran like new and I have also seen tractors with 100 hours on them that were junk. If the tractor is maintained regulary and kept cleaned and wax it should be good for 2000 hours with no major problems. Large tractors can go 7000 hours and I have heard of tractors with over 10,000 hours with no problems but they all have been maintained religously. I really do not know about compacts but I would not hesitate at a used compact with 1000 hours or 1500 hours if you know it has been cared for. You always have to check them over though to be sure and make sure nothing is wrong but in most cases they will be fine. Maybe some of our dealer friends can tell us what the average hours are on their trade in's. Later.
