I had a tree that the top was dieing and I wanted to remove the stump also. I dug up the roots and pulled it over with the tractor and some chains.
If you look close at the last pic my 3510 is smiling!

Good job! Unless its a hugh tree I usually just take my bucket a few feet up on the tree and push it over roots and all.

I was wondering about your backhoe, mine does not seem to have the power it should have. Will your lift the back of the tractor and enable you to move the tractor around without getting off like you can with a bigger hoe. Maybe I am just expecting too much, dealer said he may need to set pressure up, but looks like that would already be set. I have tried higher rps and the valve is open up all the way.

Thanks

I have a Jinma Hoe on my 3510. I had to modify the subframe to fit. With the outriggers all the way down it just barely lifts the tractor. I need to make some extentions with larger pads that won't sink so easy. I always set the brakes when digging. Sometimes I can curl the bucket and pull the tractor rearward a little but the boom won't pick up the rear. The Branson is over 1000# more than the Jinma so I don't expect it to pick up the rear.
That tree was really holding on. I had to cut a lot of roots to get it to pull over. I also had to use my pressure washer to loosen it up. I pressure washed the dirt off of the bottom of the root ball to make it lighter so I can move the stump too.
I made the 6" bucket that is on it too. It works great for trenching and digging stumps. The smaller bucket has more power to break the roots.
Sure Terry, we'll have to set that up. I'm sure the Jinma Hoe isn't the quality of the Branson but it was cheaper and I only use it once in a while so I can get by.

I have the 7620 hoe and its really never impressed me. I love the tractor and loader but the hoe does not seem up to snuff. Given the fact that I rarely use it and it does not do a very good job( in my opionion) i wish I would have saved my $3500.00 or at least spent it on something else.

Stimw, I had a similar problem, and I used 2- 3" angle bolted to each pad. It works great.

How do you adjust the pressure on a Branson Hoe? I don't think it is as easy as the loader? Also I don't think the pressure will go over 2500?

Anyone else know for sure?
