L5240HSTC with FEL, R1 tires, 3 std. remotes, top-n-tilt, rear wiper, CD player, rear work lights $39,000

RTV900 with ATV tire, grill guard, and overhead canopy $11500

ZG227 for $8700

Am I doing good here? I didn't really push for better pricing because I just don't know what is appropriate with Kubota dealers (tractors, etc, in general).

All of the above would be 0% financed if that might make a difference.

Thanks for your opinion.

All of those prices sound about right, are you buying all machines at the same time if so there is a multi-unit discount through kubota for buying multiple just ask your dealer.

Josh,

I am buying all at once, but nothing was mentioned about a multi discount except on one implement I talked him $1200 down due to having a price from another dealer on that particular implement model (although I actually misquoted the other dealer and got quite an excellent deal on that single implement). I am buying another implement with the tractor. But the total implement cost is only $3000 and not my biggest concern compared with tractor, RTV, and ZRT prices.

Try to get a quote from Barlow Tractor and see how they compare. Here is a good place to start. BARLOW TRACTOR

The dealer submitted the applications for finance tonight and is going to let me know in the morning if things are approved. I haven't signed anything, etc. Would it be rude or inappropriate for me to haggle the prices if I find, through your responses or Barlow's, that I could be getting a better deal?

Also, does anyone have more insight into this Kubota multi-unit discount that someone mentioned? Is this for multiples of the same unit? Like I said, nothing was mentioned about that.

Anyway, I want a good deal but I also want the salesman to get a decent commission. Please keep advising!

Thanks,

Rob

I'm very happy with the deal I got from my dealer, but the one thing I would do different is talk to Barlows. Personally, I don't worry about the salesman's commission and such. I figure if i get the lowest price, someone is still making money or they wouldn't be selling it.

When I am shopping for a "major purchase" and have not already decided on a dealer, I ALWAYS make it clear that I am an active buyer that is shopping for the best deal.

That way, if they want to be greedy, I have no problem with taking my cash elsewhere yet they had fair warning.
