They have wheels, you can pull them forward orpush them while backing up.
As far as switching implements back up drop in a draw pin hook up a couple of hydraulic hoses if needed a PTO shaft with plenty of room to get in and around, no squeezing around fumbling through 3 point arms and linkages.

They are quite common on the new large implements and they were quite common years ago on smaller implements for the little Ford's, Massey's, Farmalls and JD all the manufacturers had them and still do.

I think you guys have forgotten what he needs a tractor for. He has 5 acres and wants to maybe work an acre. any 25 to 30 hp 4x4 tractor with feL will be more than enough. A 5 ft tiller will do the job just fine.I have 3 or 4 pull type implements but i also have at least a dozen that are 3 pt. They both have there place.

Fixed that for ya.

We have modern tractors without three point hitches, BUT they also have plenty of hydraulics to make up for the ability to lift.

I thought $3000 for a tractor without a 3 point hitch or a Front End Loader was kind of a high price unto itself.

Versatility is what makes the farm tractor what it is. Buying a tractor without a 3 point hitch or a front end loader is like buying a house without a kitchen or a bathroom.

Up here we call that a "shed".

up here, a 3point is not considered a necessity, rather than anything a detriment ... but most people here farm a section or better, and don't see the need for 3point stuff ... and for large farms only one tractor would be ridiculous ..
the OP with 5 acres and only wanting one tractor, should look at what's available for equipment that he will use, available in that area, before making up his mind about that tractor ..

day's? I've been from a brinly 10" to 20+' equipment. if it takes days to plow an acre, you forgot to put fuel in your tractor
