90 % of our work is SS mostly for food and pharmaceutical industry. If you wan't your welds to look pretty as stated by dstig1 use only stuff dedicated for stainless ie SS wire brushes flap wheels , zip wheels etc. SS walks like a sob. Clamp it tight and don,t put too much heat in one area. You can work with SS all day and you won't look like a coal miner like you do when you work with carbon. When drilling use lots of pressure , slow speed and lots of coolant. Clean your welds when hot with SS wire brush they will look like the came from a machine . Very pertty.
