JD 3520
OK, I am new to this forum thing and posting so please be patient. I have learned a ton by reading these forums and am very thankful for all the good advice. I have been looking to buy a CUT for about 3 years but just hadn't found what I liked until I saw the new JD's 3X20's. Not to big, not to small. So, yesterday I bit the big one and bought the 3520 with 300CX loader and 447 backhoe R4 tires filled with sugar beet juice (can some one elighten me here?). The OTD price was $26,485 before taxes. I'm just curious how this compares to what others have seen. I had another dealer a little closer, (didn't like his attitude much) that wanted $28,600. Needless to say I was happy to go with the lower price at a much nicer dealer that I felt would take care of me.

Because of info I learned here I was able to insure that the loader has the newer brackets and I went with the heavy duty bucket.

Now I am just waiting for my baby to arrive. Any thoughts?

Congratulations and welcome to TBN! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Tire ballast use to be sodium based water(salt water). That is very corrosive to the rims and tire stems. Beet juice is not corrosive. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

That looks like great price. Sounds pretty good! You are going to love this tractor. I have a 3320 and sure do love it very much. It is so fun and makes me happy to live on a hobby farm. Now I can actually enjoy my acerage and work off stress playing in the yard.

That 447 is going to be awesome. What size bucket did you get? Also how many sets of rear remotes (beside the Power Beyond setup) did you end up with? I added the 3rd one on mine and will now add the plumbing to take that up the loader arms. Should be awesome with blade and someday a grapple.

Tonight I overhauled a Land Pride 72" rear rake that I have. Just because.

I brought your post in to the dealer and showed him the price . He said he couldnt or wouldnt do that and it was more like the 28600 price was best he could or best he would do. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Thanks, I really can't believe I got such a good price. This dealer is awesome. He gave me a couple of really nice JD hats to boot.

I only have the Power Setup but plan to add the third SCV and MotionMatch Cruise at the 50 hr service. I got the 13" bucket and the heavy duty bucket on the 447.

I do love it! I took delivery on Friday 11/4 and was unable to use it until last night. The BH is great, alot more power than I expected and very easy to control.
