Seems I find uses for it all the time.

Last nght decided to dismount the FEL, basically just for GP. I dropped it on a dolly and a couple of those little super dollies and just rolled it away over into a corner.

Well, it didn't take very long today when I found out I needed the FEL for a couple chores once again.

Funny, it only took less than a couple minutes to remount it, where as it probably took 15 minutes or so to dismount it the 1st time.
I'm thinkng that with the ease the FEL comes off & back on as well as it's all around usefulness in all sorts of duties that 'll probably just leave it mounted up until I mow.

Besdes, I don't know where the ole wheelbarrow's at anywho /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I'm wondering what you've been using the FEL and backhoe to dig in? From where I sit I can still see a nice coat of paint on both buckets. Are you painting them after you get finished using them for your many projects? /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I touch mine up from time to time with a paint brush and black satin paint, makes them both look like brand new. Junkman turned me on to the satin black paint, seems it works on Kubota's and New Holland's as well. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

It do have a little shine gong on in the FEL don't it /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Must be that tough Kubota orange paint /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

As for that black satin paint, I'll just go on ahead and leave that for Junk /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I feel the same way. I went to an auction this morning and unloaded the truck with the FEL. It used to be a job requiring a whole lo of effort. Slide something heavy out of the pickup bed, manhandle it across the driveway with a hand truck, walk it over the 1.5" lip at the ege of the garage, slide it around into position, etc. Now I just drop the bucket on the tailgate, balance the heavy item in the bucket and roll the bucket back, strap it in if necessary, lift the bucket, press the go pedal, and take a sip from my beverage. Not to mention it's also handy for lifting stuff to the roof of the house when necessary, and it was after the huricanes in Oct 04. No more carrying 5 gallon pails of tar up a ladder.

Do you need to use the diff lock to get the tractor to climb the ladder? /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Nah, you just need a good running start. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Actually, I made a little table to hang over the bucket that would put the table top just over the edge of the roof when the loader is all the way up. Loaded tar buckets, tools, and lots of shingles on the roof that way.

You guys are too funny.

My wife suggested that perhaps you would have one man stand on the bottom rung of the ladder holding the tar bucket, then lift the ladder with the FEL that way if the FEL doesn't reach quite high enough you can still climb the rest of the way.

I think I've forwarded too many of those Oops pictures to her.

I have found that the FEL is even useful when moving
a couch with a hideaway bed (very heavy). See attached photo. No comments about the ROPS please, I had to lower it to fit through the garage door where the couch was being stored during remodeling of the family room.
