Kubota B7510
Well just got off the phone with the dealer and got a final price on the B7510 with Fel. Less tax was $12,300. I was pretty happy with that price. What do you all think? The only thing that I was disappointed with was I had to put 20% down instead of the normal 10%. (Just took a construction loan out for alot of money) I think that my ratio's were to high with my credit(oh well). The dealer said that he would have it delivered Tues or Wed. Is there anyway I couldn've went wrong with this tractor? Thanks to all for the good advice. I will post pics when I get it nice and muddy.(It has rained here for a 2 weeks)

Sounds very fair. I paid a little less for the same tractor with LA272 FEL late last year but they had a price increase since then and tractors seem to be a little cheaper here than in other parts of the country.

I suspect that my dealers overhead is considerably less than your dealers. I also wonder if the higher fuel prices are starting to hit all of us with higher freight charges. Surely it is costing more to deliver tractors from the factory than it did 6 months ago.

I have really enjoyed my B7510. At 125 hours it has done a lot of work.

After 30 or 40 hours I loaded the rear tires (75% fill of anti freeze and water) and it improved the traction a lot. Depending on your usage and soil conditions tire fill may or may not be a good idea. I have the R4's and was spinning in some of this East Texas red dirt.

Is this the HST model?
Did you get the 302 front end loader?

To get this size tractor to dig, you are going to need a toothbar.

Have fun and stay safe with your new tractor. I have a B7500 and I am a happy owner.

$13750 is the current quote I have for a B7610 with LA352 FEL, Folding ROPS, and R4's, and I think it's a pretty good quote, especially for the area I'm in. Works out to a little more than 14% off list before adding in a bit of labor to install the FEL.

Subtract about $800 for the difference between the B7610 and B7510 (I'm assuming you have HST), which brings it down to $12950. Subtract another $250 if you have the LA302 FEL, $150 if you don't have folding ROPS, and $100 if you have R1s instead of R4s. In total that would bring my quote down to $12450, so it appears to me your are getting a good deal, although that's not to say a better deal couldn't be had.

I think that was with the 302 fel. The one I drove did have the adjustable ROPS and the bar tires. Is that the FEL that I want? I assume that is the largest FEL the dealer will put on it. It is also the HST. As far as a tooth bar should I just get at the dealership or order online. (price) is there that much difference in tooth bars. How bout filling the tires? Any advise will be greatly appreciated, for this is my first tractor. Thanks to all. Oh by the way the soil at my lot is very sandy if that helps with filling or not filling the tires.

It looks like on the B7510 your options are the LA272 and LA302, so the LA302 is what you would want. I thought you might be able to get the LA352 because www.aldermans.com lists it as an option for the B7510, but I think it's a mistake and you can only get it on the B7610. The Kubota literature does not show the LA352 as an option for the B7510.

The dealer quoted me $400 for the Gearmore toothbar. Many on TBN have been happy with the much cheaper alternative from Markham Welding. They quoted me about $220 including shipping for a 49" toothbar. I plan on buying it from them once I get my tractor. I think the big difference between Markham Welding and what the Gearmore offers is that I believe the Gearmore toothbar is specifically made for your loader so it will have a snug clean fit. Markham Welding just goes by the bucket width, so the fit might not be snug, but apparently the only concern with this is that it doesn't look quite as nice, but should function just as well.

I can't really comment on filling your tires except to say that the more ground engaging work you do, the more it makes sense, and the more mowing you do, the less you want the extra weight damaging your lawn.

I bought my toothbar from Carver's (they advertise on this site,) and I believe it was in the two hundred range but steel has gone up in price since then. Anyway the fit was perfect, and I have used it hard and sometimes abused it hard and it shows no sign.

Here is a pic of my B7500 with a bucket of topsoil.

Another pic of the b7500 being a goat, putting in dirt to satisfy the building inspector until a deck can be built.
