The slip clutch is mounted on the implement. The female side of the telescoping PTO shaft is mounted to it. I always adjust mine a good bit more than tight enuf to stall the tractor. Otherwise they burn up quite readily. A real problem if tractor/implement is a serious overmatch.Grrrr said:Is it like an inline slip clutch that you put on the tractor and then the pto shaft of the mower goes on to it? I know what you mean about shear bolts too, I am always getting more of them (the baler has a real appetite for them) I think they must be taken by the 'shear bolt thiefs'![]()
