I have a YM 2000B and accidentally ran it dry of fuel by leaving the shut off valve in the off position. Now it turns over but does not start. I'm guessing I got air in the fuel line. How do I go about bleeding the lines to start the tractor? Or is there something else I'm missing?

Follow the directions, it's not that hard to too and usually doesn't take a lot of time, but after you have to do it once, you'll probably take steps to make sure you don't have to do it again!

just loosen the screw like the link says till fuel comes out without bubbles starting on the tank side and ending at the injector pump. All it takes.

HINT:
If your tractor has a nice clean engine, you can place empty soft drink 20oz plastic bottles to catch the diesel fuel being primed in the lines.

To the forum from Northwest Alabama. Hazel Green, at first I thought you were talking about your wife's eyes but then I remembered that it is North of Huntsville.

I have a YM 2000B

Oh wow. You live just minuets away from Fredricks Importing. If you YM2000B came from them, your machine was restored in a great way.

I don't know Yanmars, but on my TC30 (3 cyl), I bled each of the three injectors separately. The first time I did it I closed the injectors too soon. I watched a you tube video and saw that he closed them when he had a spurt of fuel. I did that and it all worked.

OOOoops! I thought I'd replied but I don't see it here. 2nd try....
MDOrange, ya got me on the eyes/ Good one.
BMaverick, yes, I am fairly close (45 miles) to Fredricks and I have bought parts from them but my Yanmar is either unrestored or a very old restoration without converting to US specs. I've had it about ten years. It appears to not have had much use before I got it and until now, I've used it very lightly, mostly mowing. With the new place it is going to be getting more exercise than in the past, with a lot of mowing, tilling and lifting ahead.
