Bale Rig Simplifies Haymaking - YouTube
Not looking to copy this accumulator but the end result is what I'm looking for. I'm a small hay producer, about 20 acres twice a year, and I'm also chicken farmer and these two farms are about 10 miles apart so anything to speed things up in the hay field for cheap is a great thing. I don't mind building a 3 point setup but I have an odd sized trailer frame I could use. It's a 3x9 frame with a single axle. I currently have a 1980 Long 610 (70hp) with 1 remote and 540 PTO. I like this table style accumulator better them the type that drags across the ground. I've looked into the bale baskets but with my hilly ground I'm afraid they'd be to top heavy. Also there's not any in this area. Same goes for the new holland bale wagons. So I'm looking to build this setup as cheap as possible. Any ideas on how to go about this setup?
