How do I convert tractors rear tailights to flash on and off ?

I have an auto type 4 terminal pin flasher complete with it's own mounting bracket...if connected proper would this convert the tailights to flashing.....I use my tractor for snow ploughing I have a magnetic hood mount flashin' yellow strobe light.....for safety reasons... I would prefer to have the tail lights I installed 3 years ago.... to flash on and off...I already have a slow moving sign attached to the back side of tractors seat....thanks in advance<<<>>> Ampa

Not sure what your 4th terminal is for, as the flasher modules I'm familiar with only have three. Perhaps this may help

The 4th terminal is probably for the second tail light. He did state automotive flasher. It may be seperated for left and right tail lights.

The easiest thing to do is connect a bulb or volt meter to that pin and set the flasher on. flash or no flash.

Now if I remember correctly I inherited this flashing unit from an ol neighbor/coffee drinkin'buddy who has since passed away...he did own and drive a few motorcycles at age 77....although he was in the hospital couple times and in attensive care due to two real bad motorcycle accidents....this wasn't what killed him....Ampa

OK - perhaps a dumb question, but don't you have a hazard flasher button on your tractor? I know mine does...

No hazard switch/button... Dave....it's an 80's greymarket ISEKI...but you have me thinkin'....another inline toggle switch/button would work the same way.....thanks Dave<<<>>>>Ampa<>:thumbsup:
