How do you 2210 owners like your tractor?

Love my 2210, Has helped out with a number of projects. Last week I buried 4 huge stumps left over by the contractor when they built the house. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif When I moved them back to the back of my lot they were wet an fresh. It was everything the loader could do to get them back there, Had to be at least 600lbs each. Dug a 3' x 12' hole and dumped them in. I would recommend a tooth bar from Markham welding and after you get all set on the price with the dealer ask him to throw in the 50hr service as part of deal.

For what it is and designed to do, it is the best little tractor in the world. I have no complaints. I have used mine for mowing and all kinds of dirt work. It just keeps going. Will be a switch from what you were starting with, though.

Well I pickup up the JD 2210 today and haven't had much time to play with it, But it seems to be a really nice little unit /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif. It poured here today most of the day so I didn't get much seat time. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif But we haven't had much rain for the last month ,So I can play more tomorrow. So far first impressions are that I really like the fit and finish over the BX /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif and it has a better loader that I was expecting. Even though I have a JD 4320 The banks are to sloped for me to cut the grass with it so I'm use to a craftsman and the ZD25. The little 2210 even climbs my driveway in high range better than the 4320 in B" range . The 2210 s rpm only drops about 50 RPM and the 4320 drops about 600-700 RPM and don't dare try in C" range it just stalls /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif. Does anyone have any specs on the 200CX loader? The manual doesn't give any /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif and the dealer says it can lift 800 LBS full height???I picked up a 72" rake for it also to share with the bigger tractor if it is ever fixed??

Thanks again for all of your help.

Jim,

Congrats on your purchase. It will be interesting to hear about your experiences as you are able to compare it to its larger brethren. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I've had my 2210 for a few years now. I'm still amazed at what that little machine can do!

I'd like it better if it was paid for. What it will NOT do is drag a felled tree, at least not a whole tree at once. It mows, it scoops, it chops. The Imatch has a hook that is perfect for pulling fence posts. The 210 loader scoops rocks, and snow.. the 62 c mower mows.... Impressive machine with an impressive price. But for the bouncy ride..... and the payments. .... even so I like it.

2210's rule. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif Aside from the seat issue, it is a great machine for the investment. I have over 250 hours and not a single minute of down time. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I agree and changed the seat. The 2210 always starts and is very well built. I have been very happy so far and does all I ask of it. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif The ROPS does a very good job of ripping low branches off of pine trees too! /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Sorry to hear about your trouble with your 4320. I'm a bit late but I'll say it anyway: if it were me I would either see if JD and/or the dealer are worth their salt and would give you a loaner machine until yours if fixed. If they won't I would go over to the Kubota dealer and get the 2230, (or if a M-F dealer is nearby, go there and pick up their GC2300). Drive it on the trailer over to the JD dealer and explain to them you'll be using this orange (or red) machine in the meantime and if they don't fix your bigger machine in a timely manner you'll be looking at a bigger machine in orange (or red).

Buying the 2210 from them just makes them figure they have you in their back pocket. Over a month for repair and they still have it? Hold their feet to the fire.
