How do you guys change your blades and clean your mower decks?

i drive the front wheels into the bucket on the tractor and lift it up and throw a jack stand under the bucket so it can not come down.

I use a FEL and chain to lift the front of my mower. However, I like your method. Simple and safer with the jack stand under the loader.

I also use a FEL and chain, but place a length of 2" angle iron (I've precut various lengths) over the exposed FEL cylinder and lower FEL with power off until it is supported by it - concept taken from the safety bar found on skid steers.
