Yes it is and they have been known to go bad. You will see that once you relieve the output side of that pump and crank the engine over all of your problems concerning fuel delivery should go away. Mine has goofed up twice in 4 years and that was the 2 minute fix. It does make a mess though.

Regards, Fred

One thing I can say is sounds to me like a bunch of engineer done got cute and creative making a big mess out of things. I don't have half that garbage on my old tractors and they are a whole lot simpler and easier to troubleshoot and work on. I just cringe with this new stuff and all the unnecessary whizzos these engineers put new stuff. I think part of it is the manufacturer wants to cause mass confusion so you can't work on it and you have to haul it to a dealer where shop rated run about 100 dollars an hour. Good luck getting it going.

Phillip this is an old school engine interim tier 4. No scan tool needed it's like a carburetor or urinal at your favorite watering hole, simply pull the flusher handle and she should come alive!

Oof school to me is 50's-60's and 70's. Everything is mechanical. Only electric needed is for starter and lights. Once you got it running, you could literally turn off and pull the key, pull the batteries out and it would stay running. Absolutely no electricity required. That was the good old days. My allis has a fuel tank, hand pump, screw on fuel filter, injector pump, fuel line and injectors. No fuel solenoid, no lift pump, it is simple and straight forward. I can change out a fuel filter, prime it and have running in 10 minutes or less. Full fuel filter with fuel, install, give the hand pump 3-4 pumps and you running. To me that's old school.
