I went to TSC yestersay and picked up a female 21 spline to male 6 spline adapter. Before I drove the 35 miles, I checked the TSC catalog and saw two choices. A 20 spline 1 3/4" version and a 21 spline 1 3/8" version. I eyeballed the shaft and figured 1 3/8". I called and they had it in stock. Lo and behold my 21 spline shaft is about 1 1/8"????? I just checked the Agri-supply and TSC catalogs again and see no mention at all of this shaft standard. I am trying to replace an original JD PTO shaft with a longer one.
What does anyone know about a 21 spline shaft that is approx 1 1/8" ????
