Hello,
I'm new here. Got hooked!, when I bought a used small NH with lots of toys.
My problem now is... I bought a used BH with a "Ford 757" label. Well, I can not find a tag on it, so I am not sure what "Ford 757" this is. This BH spent some idle time in the elements. Well, a little blue paint here and there...
Gasp! Is it a "757B" or a "757C"?
Can I use it and buy a subframe? Or, do I sell it?
I searched the older posts and could not find any info.

How do you expect any answers to your questions without providing information and pictures of what you are needing to identify and the model of the tractor you would like to mate it with?

Hello,

Well, I am trying to figure out what type of Ford 757 BH I have.
It may be a 757B or a 757C. I do know that it is a Ford 757 BH, since I do have the owner's/operator's manual. All of the pics match the BH, of course.

Does anyone know how I may identify if I have a Ford 757C BH?

Is there any specific difference in the BH base, that attaches to a tractor subframe, that I can compare to my BH?

If this BH is a the 757C then I may still be able to get a subframe for my tractor from New Holland. Subframe availability is limited to current inventory. This I already already know.

Thanks,
Dave

RickB,

Thanks, for the suggestion. Well, I see I have a 757A. Next years project will be to make a subframe for it. Let's see, I'll check the link ya posted...

Not really possible to provide much intelligent feedback without tractor model

Dave,

Welcome to TBN and congrats on the new-to-you tractor and implements!

As has been not so tactfully stated, please feel free to post some details on exactly what model your NH tractor is. A description of your other implements and planned uses/projects would be cool too. Forums like this are all about sharing our experiences and knowledge. The more you give the more you get.

This is a big community - you might even find someone with your exact combination of tractor and BH or something very close. No need to reinvent the subframe (like I did :) )

Welcome aboard. Sorry for some of the curt replies you've gotten so far.
I have no knowledge of the backhoe. But my suggestion would be to re-post this in the New Holland section. As has been suggested when asking for help on here or any of the websites for that matter, the more info or photos you can provide up front the better. Photos really are worth a 1000 words when seeking help. I went through the same thing a few ago when I found this site and asked a question. Now all question are preceded by make model and year of the tractor. If photos will help then I will take a ton and try and post the one that best shows my issue.
There is one other place you might try. ytmag.com. There is a Ford discussion ground and you can search the archives.
Again welcome aboard.

Try this.. Not much info but a place to start.
