From what i've seen, that seems about the going rate. Get it down to under $15k and it would be extremely hard to say no. Whether to pay $17k or not depends on the final quality and neatness of items that wear, such as seats and flooring. Also if there are many new parts. But it looks good to me, trying to wiggle your way down in price never seems to hurt, though. Good luck!

As you will find. Any 2500 diesel truck will be high. You can use the KBB as a guide & make an offer. If you want it you can always come up on your offer

carfax it, etc. that low of mileage in an '02 is not very common. Use NADA to book it, thats what the banks generally use. I use NADA to buy and KBB to sell.
But if it's clean and in good shape, $15,000 would be a good deal. Those PSD's are bullet proof.

I'll admit that the price on that truck is very similar to what I'd see here. I wouldn't pay the asking price though. Why ??? Try to get KBB trade in price on the vehicle you want to trade in at ANY dealer. The dealer will tell you that you are dreaming. So.... they must be dreaming on the prices they are asking also.

That's about right for a 7.3 Check front end over good for bad ball joints, ect and motor for leaks.

Wasn't there an issue with the oil pan gasket? And i was told from you guys at this forum it can be a big job to change. Just thinking out loud.
