Finally stopped snowing after three days. We picked up about 15-18 inches of snow. Of course, I had some wonderful seat time blowing to snow everywhere. Usually do my drive, the outlaws, and a couple of neighbors. But nothing more relaxing than to play (oops work)on the tractor with the heated cab. But I am still gonna find that county plow driver, I know he waits for me to get done. I visualize him sitting at the end of the street sippin his coffee, and when he sees no more snow flying, he giggles and puts his truck in gear.

Finally wised up to that and cleared out 50 feet or so on the road.....Now I am gigglin

But nothing like driving through the woods to get to the outlaws place, I end up making my own path to get there 200 yards. Deer are scrambling everywhere when I come through. You know they are saying to each other, "here comes that human idiot with the loud machine to make our paths bigger again." We'll never get any sleep.

It sounds like you have a nice setup now for snow work, and that does make it a lot more fun! Nice that you have deer close by to share the outdoors with too. We are supposed to get 3"-6" of snow out of this storm, and it's snowing hard now, but the front seems to be moving pretty quickly too. Your cab looks really nice! Do you remove that in the summer? Is there a way to completely shut the heat off when you don't want it? Thanks, Chuck

Chuck,

I do not remove it in the summer. I just take the doors off and remove the back (held on by snaps and velcro). The heat isn't an issue when the heater is shut off. I shut the 2 vents and I keep the fan motor turned off so I get no heat coming out (or at least not enough to detect).

Thanks Wildbill, I was curious about those things. Five inches of snow here now, and it looks like it's running out of gas.

Here in SWNY we ended up with about 20 inches of new snow since Thursday. I just finished blowing the snow. I think I have done it once every day since Thursday and could've done it twice on Friday. Not snowing now for the time being...
