How much straw to cover 2,500 sq feet.

Basically putting in a new lawn. Pretty darn flat area. Any idea how many bales that are about 16"Hx18"Wx24"L it will take to cover it so the constant rain doesn't wash new seed away?

I remember needing 8-9 bales to cover my septic area, which is about 50x100, but irregular shaped. Took more than I thought.
