Price Check How much to pay for 2004 L3130 LA723, BH9000 backhoe, 890 hours

I seem to be a naysayer on many pricing threads, but this time - I think that's a fair-ish price.

I am assuming that the machine is in good shape, no leaks, and that the hoe is frame mounted. L3130 is a great tractor.

I had that exact tractor minus the BH;purchased new was about $16,000.The BH probably added another $7,000.What I have read that tractor with the BH seems a little under-powered.
All that said; mine was great for all uses;traded up for a cab.

Thanks all for the replies .. very helpful. I will go to take a look at it this weekend. Also found an item included is a fertilizer/salt spreader as well. BH is subframe mounted Woods 9'.

Only time I run out of power is when going up a hill in 11 or 12 gear with the backhoe on.

Only other issue is that if you have an early tractor, there is a defect where if you use the backhoe with the tractor pointing downhill for extended amount of time the drive gear to the hydraulic pump will run dry and seize up. The fix is a holder kit that has a new pump holder drilled with a lube delivery hole and a new oil filter base with a metered hole in it with a hard line connecting the two and it delivers oil to the drive gear. Never had a problem but put kit on anyway,
