Today I placed a 900 # roots vacuum pump on top of a 1400# rotary vane vacuum pump. Plus an 80kg drive motor. All positioned with a chi-com engine hoist. I just put the pin in the marked boom extension hole according to the stencilled markings. Everything worked fine, but I stayed clear of the 'fall zone". ;-) ( one sweet release valve on that hydraulic ram, The boom let down at less than an inch per second)
