How not to lay fiber optic....

The contractor took out power, water and internet. I guess no one told the crew what the little flags used to mark utilities are for.

When the power blew, the electric company was in the middle of drilling a new hole for the pole, and it somehow shorted out the auger.

They worked all night trying to get the auger bit out of the ground. As of 8AM still no water.

No big deal, ill just carry buckets up from the creek for the toilets but with the drought we are in the creek is maybe only a couple inches deep now. 430 this morning, im digging a collection hole in the creek so I can fill buckets.

Was gonna go hunting but this morning kinda changed my plans but could be worse. I think the fiber optic crew could be looking for jobs today

Unfortunately this happens way too often.
Not to mention all the fence post holes that Ive seen augered into cables and water lines.
