How to adjust 3PL hyrdaulic lift speed on Kioti LK35

I have a Kioti LK35 with FEL and various 3PL implements. Problem is I cannot find any way to adjust the hydro lift speed of the 3PL when raising implements. The lift is jerky and sudden regardless of how gently I try and feather the lift control lever. Also the lift lever has graduations from 1 to 10 (1 being lowest). The 3PL does NOT even start to rise until about 6 1/2 on the scale, and then it jerks into action. It's OK if you're just raising and dropping a slasher but if you want to delicately lift a pallet with 3PL mounted lifting forks you risk toppling your load over as it jerks off the ground. You can control 3PL drop speed with the rotary control knob below front of seat, but this does NOT control lift speed. Have approached Kioti for info since tractor is still under warranty, but no joy there. Anybody got any ideas of either fixes/adjustments or even modifications that would solve the problem. I replaced an old (70's) Kubota L245 when I bought the Kioti and even on that machine you could feather the 3PL lift as gently as you wanted, and mechanically there looks to be some genetic connection between the two tractors. Any help greatly appreciated!

Hi guys, it is Kioti LK35 here again. I notice over 90 people have read my post but no responses. Maybe it will help if I add that the DK and DS35 have the same hydraulic set up as far as I know, also the LK30. Here in Australia many people have not heard of an LK35 (including the local Kioti dealer who tried to tell me LK35 does not exist, only LK30!). Anyway, hopefully broadening the scope to include these other similar models will help. Here's hoping.

I'm not real familiar with the LK models so I can't help much. But I don't thing there is a speed adjust for the lift on the 3 point.
Can't remember for sure, but I don't think the 3 point on my DK 35 starts to lift till I'm at 5 or 6 on the scale

Sorry, I know nothing about Kioti tractors. Have you tried operating another LK35 to see if it is "normal" for that model to react that way? I don't know of any tractor that has an adjustment on lift speed, other than the control you are using now. Does less throttle help any? Does the control feel notchy, like your controling it in increments, or is it smooth? I'm guessing that it is a used tractor, based on the fact that the dealer has never heard of that model, but it is new to you.

I have operated Kubotas that react the same way. It is limited to a few Kubota models that must share the same valve design.
Maybe Kioti has a similar design?? I don't know.
You may want to try posting this under Kioti own/ operating. Maybe there you will get more hits from Kioti owners.

Hi Bill, sounds like the 30 hp variation of mu 35 hp and with the same problem/behaviour. I suspect this is a "feature" of the way this model (and similar) are engineered in the hydraulic valve department. Does anyone know of any modifications that might resolve it?
