Bobidy,
For what its worth, Ive got a 1610D and am located in Northeast NE. We've been blasted with cold weather and snow since mid-december and ive been using my yanmar to move ALOT of snow with the FEL and a 6 foot blade on the 3 PT. I learned real quick that that cold weather and hydraulics are real pain. So what Ive been doing is letting the tractor warm up about 15 minutes or so, and then slowly working the FEL up and down about 5-10 times and then the same with the 3PT until the hydraulics are smooth and responsive, then Im good to go no matter what the temp has been. Also since these tractors barely use any fuel, if it has been really cold and Im using it for most of the day, I just let the thing run and never have to worry about the hydraulics till the next morning. Also it seems like you need to drive the tractor a little bit before you can get any use out of it when its really cold, but if you take the care to warm things up these little monsters are amazing when it comes to the work they can do. It also helps to have fresh fluids in it when it gets cold and the Hyd. screen cleaned.
Good Luck!
