how to calculate a use tractors worth?

I am looking into sell my 1992 JD 970. It is four wheel drive with a FEL. It has about 544 hours on it and runs good. How is a sell price calculated for an older tractor? thanks.

Go to sites like tractorhouse.com and compare yours to the ones they are selling. I think they have 8 for sale at this time. Farmcountrytrader.com, equipmenttraderonline.com, ironsearch.com all have tractors for sale. Compare yours and make an estimated guess if you think yours is worth more or less than theirs.
