I am buying my first tractor this weekend and need some advice on how to choose the right implements. Specifically I would like to get a box scraper and a tiller and do not know where to start. The basics would be a good start like what size is appropriate for my tractor? My new tractor will be a JD 950 4x4 withloader. Thanks for your help!

I am not familiar with JD tractors, so my BB advice is simple - go used. Get it from an auction, craigslist, the paper, or the repo man. A bb, as long as it is heavy, with thick metal, will likely outlast your lifespan. So who cares if it is new. I bought a taylor way- pittsburgh model (6') for my tractor. The thing is tough and I got it for about 400 or 425. I got mine brand new at auction from a dealer closeout.
Bargains abound, look around.
As far as a tiller goes, do what I did, get a TSC tiller (King Kutter). I bought one from the advice of many people on this site and I am not dissapointed yet.
