How to clean the dirt and old grease around FEL pins?

Recently purchased a 10 year old Kubota B7800.

I am in the process of cleaning the tractor and now
need to clean the areas around all of the FEL grease fittings.

What is the best/do-no-harm approach? What should I use-
a degreaser, brush, garden hose, power washer, etc.?

Will a power washer push dirt and grit into areas where it should not be?

If it was mine, I would use some WD40 on a rag, wipe it up, and push in some new grease. If the grease goes in good, go on. If you can't get it in the grease channel, pull the pins one at a time with bucket relaxed on the ground, and clean up the grease channel, and reinsert and grease. Clean it once in a while with the WD40 soaked rag. At least that is what I would do. Everyone to their own pleasure.

Diesel or WD-40 on a rag if you want to get them real clean. For periodic 10-hr greasing, I simply use an old paint brush to pick up the gobs of old grease and dirt that get pushed out, and scrape it on a piece of cardboard.
