John Deere 6410
I have a John Deere 6410. seems to choose on its own when the day is done and just won't move after cutting hay, bush hog, etc. Sometimes you can restart it, or let it rest for a few minutes, and maybe you can limp to the house hoping it doesn't do it again in the middle of the road. I have pulled the error codes off, but I can't remember how to clear them so that I can see what comes back up as current after the next fault. Can someone help me clear them?

I get in dia mode with the fuse in the 115 slot, key on, and turn signal to select BIF, BCU, RCU, etc.

I have RCU 01-045, RCU 01-032, RCU 01-055, and RCU 01-027. I think these will point to either the enable pressure switch or the enable solenoid. Any help on finding a john deere DTC list would help as well. It seems that the last websites I used to look up the codes isnt' available any longer.

Thanks in advance for any help.

FYI RCU = Reverser Control Unit (for those that don't know) (y) (y) (y)🤠
RCU 01- codes:
045 direction of travel selected, but enable solenoid is still closed
032 park position, but its valid neutral signal missing
055 enable solenoid stuck in "closed" position
027enable pressure switch indicates no pressure

To clear codes:
When 01 End appears, activate the hazard lights switch
After the code is cleared, display will show 01 rcu & 01 000 (alternating)

Thank you. Hopefully it's just the solenoid

When looking under the transmission n, I've removed the cover to get to the solenoids and the 2 pressure switches. Can you tell me what the function of the solenoids from front to back are (forward, reverse, not neutral, etc) and where the enable pressure switch is located?

I figured it out. The solenoids are reverse, forward, enable when looking from front to back. My symptoms were that the left hand reverse wouldn't stay engaged either forward or reverse. I also had the error codes listed above. I pulled the middle (forward) and rear (enable) solenoid coils off. The middle one tested with continuity, the rear one tested open. I switched them so I had a "good" enable solenoid and a "bad" forward solenoid. Started the tractor, and it would move in reverse but not forward. I'll order the solenoid coil tomorrow.
