I am a newbie. Just bought a 2004 B7500 with a LA302 loader. The machine works great. I have all the documentation except for how to remove the loader and the 60" deck mower. While it looks obvious how to do it.... I was wondering if someone could send help me with instructions and the sequence.
Kind regards.
Michael

I take mine off too infrequently to remember exactly but let me see if I can get this right. I'm not including all the obvious safety precautions.

First, and this is very important, do this on level concrete or some other hard level surface.

Raise loader.
Lower loader stands.
Lower loader onto stands.
Slightly 'dump' bucket to barely take weight off front of tractor.
Remove loader pins from loader frame.
Now slowly curl bucket and the loader should rise out of the frame.
Turn tractor off, relieve hydraulic pressure and then unhook hydraulic lines.
Turn tractor back on and slowly back out from under the loader.

I'd also recommend getting the manual for you loader. It should have step by step instructions for doing this. The manual for the tractor itself does not, or at least mine doesn't.

George... thanks for your help. The sequence seems simple. Do you know if the LA302 is a Kubota product or an after market product... trying to figure out where I would get a manual.

As stated by N80, it is important to relieve the pressure. Once the loader is docked and unattached, turn the tractor off and relieve the hydraulic pressure from the lines by moving the joy stick in all directions at least once. Then the quick connects will come loose very easily. Otherwise you'll have problems disconnecting as well as reconnecting the hoses. Once the hoses are disconnected (or reconnected) just restart the tractor and continue the procedure of docking the loader, but at this point you should be ready to just back the tractor away from (or up to) the loader. .

I would assume that the LA302 is a Kubota product since they use the 'LA' Designation for all of their loaders. The number that follows is the weight in kg that the loader is rated for.

Here is where to get the manual:

7J043-69122 Kubota LA272,LA302,LA352,LA402 Owners Manual

I will say that there is not much in a loader manual, but the connect and disconnect steps are in there. I tend to forget the steps so I think it is nice to have the manual on hand even if it is $12.

You can get a manual for your tractor at the same place:

6C120-63113 Kubota B7400 B7500 Owners Manual

They also have parts and service manuals. These cost a lot more, but if you intend to keep and use the tractor for a long time, I think they are worth it.

Thanks for the info..although 7 yrs old... it is the exact problem i have... links to manuals was very helpful as i have ordered them. I have a 2003 Kubota B7500 with LA302 Loader attachment... needed to get it off and put on the B2660 snowblower attachment. Hopefully can get that done without any problems.

I was in the same boat a few weeks ago in regards to removing my loader. Its actually quite easy! Do a search online for videos showing how its done, even a video for a larger or newer tractor will still apply. That's how I got started. Also, tip: prior to removing the hydro lines, you might want to mark them with colored zip ties, or some other similar method, so you are certain to return them to the correct port later. Trust me, not nearly as difficult as it seems prior to trying it the first time. You got this!
