How to fix a hole in John Deere fiberglass canopy?

Well boys here's what happened I lowered my canopy on my new 3520 to pull it in my garage and then like a dumba$$ raised my bushhog to pull it in. The middle drawbar mount on my bushhog poked two small slits in my canopy. I cried all night. The slits are about 1 1/2" long and about 1/4" of an inch wide. How can I fix this?

Depends on how fancy you want to get. If it was me I'd cover the holes from the bottom with some tape and then mix up some epoxy and fill them from the top. Let it set, give it a light sanding and some touch up paint.

Lets see a picture from both sides. Fiber glass is easy to fix, It is painting it that can be tricky. My very 1st paint job was my best one because I didn't care if it came out nice, don't it figure that was the best one

I agree with Timber, fiberglass repair is not bad at all. Pick up a small repair kit at an autobody supply. and put aside about two hours.

"I cried all night." I hope not. If so sell tractor now because if you actually use it this is just the first of many injures it will suffer.

If you really need to fix the slits get a fibreglass repair kit at an auto parts store or marine dealer.
